Thanks for great update! The family and I are looking forward to opening day. My son most of all. He has been watching my coaster videos all winter long. When I created them I had no idea I was going to have a son that would so crazy about them. Anyway, he doesn't understand why we can't ride this very second. Yesterday I took him to see Nitro across the lake. He was Freaking!

Great hearing from you Bret! Its actually rather funny because my 4 year old couldn't quite grasp why the park had to close last fall. He got so bent out of shape when I was trying to explain that this would be our last visit this year and it would be many months before we get on the rides again. I tried everything from the rides needed some "sleep and rest" to it being to cold out to go on rides (the heat wave in January screwed me there lol), and then once Wiggles World was announced, I could say there was a lot of construction going on and they couldn't let people be around all of the work. Then he said lets move to Florida where its warmer and we can go on rides all the time. Did I mention how much I love my son! LOL

A small additional update to the update coming later today. I remembered a few things that I should have included in the original update

That's what I want to do, but Rich is a party pooper. He thinks it's too hot there in the summer. I'm sure I would agree since I don't like heat, but I'd be willing to try it if it means I can ride Montu year-round. :-)

Unfortunately, no, he loves the cold and snow. I actually do like snow too, but not at the expense of having the parks closed.

Here are a few more tidbits I can share regarding this season:

Wok & Roll will become a Panda Express

Carnegie Deli will become a Cold Stone Creamery (not sure if a new Carnegie Deli will open elsewhere though)

The Funnel Cake place (shown below) over by the bumper cars will become a Ben & Jerrys.

There will be new nametags for the cast (I believe everybody)

There will be new uniforms for many cast (see RJ's post)

Expect some changes (GOOD ONES!) to the parent swap process

The ice cream location across from the new Flash Pass building (I think!) will also become a Ben & Jerrys.

For some reason, the statues on the sides of Batmans entrance were removed. Let us hope they are either being repaired or replaced. I didn't happen to notice their status while we were in the park because a large truck was parked in front of the ride entrance. But I did manage to get this picture:

I'll add more as I learn more.

EDIT: I almost forgot a MAJOR change that should make everybody happy - A BRAND NEW, from the ground up, web site that will contain useful information for planning your day

OH NO Parent Swap changes !! Wade now don't play with me here I do hope all things will go well with this policy . It has made our trips 100 % more enjoyable. I really do hope they are changes for the better . Now you got me all nervous . AHHH I don't know which face

YEAH ... I tell you it really has made going to the park so much better. We really enjoy being able to have both parents enjoy the park when we go with our 3 kids which is all the time LOL . With no one to help out with our son who is too small to ride we have to bring him so this is truley a HUGE plus for us. I am glad to see it get a little more attention We were just so glad that they started it.
