Tom, it has only gotten faster/more intense.

The outbound hills deliver AWESOME air, not like Toro, but good enough to make you grab the handle bar and scream "Oh Sh**" if you are unsuspecting. The trains were flying so fast, the wheels were making noises I've never heard before...

I didn't think it was possible to get more intense, but it did. This will become a yearly event for me from now on... this is just something that cannot be missed. Night rides are hard to come by at this place, and this seems to be one of the only ways to get any.

The crowd was around 600-700 I think they said, somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 of last year. It was amazing to say the least.

Raven and Legend were also running the best I've ever seen, and a lot of people at the event said Raven was better this year than ever before... I might have to take another trip out there this summer, if not, definitely for next years HWN... I will be posting pics on Wednesday morning or Thursday night.

Chang, but both neither really do it for me. The only stand-ups I have had a decent amount of fun on are Shockwave at PKD and Riddler at SFMM.

Yes I need to get out there again.
it is a must yearly visit and such a great park
low entry price
free drinks (I drank to much last year) need to switch to water when it's hot
3 awesome woodies

I will mark my yearly calender for this event and not miss it

fyi ACE Hershey event only had 42 people and about 20-22 at ERT that died down to about 14 people between 2 trains.

Yeh Thunder Run and Son of Beast was closed when we went out last year we had to ride twisted sisters a SFKK  blahh

Full Update:

Well last Friday in the wee hours of the morning we left for Philadelphia airport on our way to an amazing weekend in Indiana! We arrived at our gate just around 6am and just chit chatted for a while. We took off and landed in Detroit because we had a layover there, meanwhile there airport is awesome. It even has its own monorail because its that big!

We eat pizza at 8am for a nice breakfast and wait for our plane to come in.

We got bored...

Finally our plane arrives and we board...

Rob asleep...

Somewhere over Michigan or Ohio??

Finally we land in Louisville where we met up with our friends Bill and Matt. We get our rental car and proceed to Holiday World, which was a 2 hour drive. Finally, we get there and see something in the distance...

Yay!  ;D

We parked and entered the park and proceeded to Raven. Now Raven during the day and at night are two different rides. During the day its good, but at night its much better especially in the back seat. I just realized I took no pictures of Raven, woops!

Anywho, afterwards we proceeded to Legend which in my opinion is awesome! The drop in the back is great and the double up gives amazing air! Again, alot better at night as well!

Finally afterwards, we rode the best experience you can ever have....the Voyage! Wow, after 45 rides on this thing it is just unbelievable! The thing is insane! We got a walk back tour on the 2nd day which provided us with some awesome pictures and you just realize how crazy the change of elevation is on this ride! It is definitely me new #1 coaster!

Rob and Ian didn't like it too much!  :P

What the hell is Ian doing?

 :o

I also got my one of three new credits of the trip!

HOWLER!

Besides that, we pretty much did all the flats in the park and we spent half a day inside the waterpark which was awesome too! I will put up SFKK pictures tomorrow hopefully!

To look at all the pictures, here you go!

Since I've been really lazy lately and had no free time... I'm posting a link to the pictures I took for HWN. Chuck also pretty much summed up the trip. It was a blast, and I got SO CLOSE to reaching my goal of 50 rides... I got shut down at 48. Oh well... there's always the event there in September ;)

These are all just from Holiday World. I took some at SFKK too, I will get around to that eventually too. I will do a full TR for HWN, SFKK and some other parks I've been to so far this year in the next week or so. (hopefully).

^ The look on the one girl's face is priceless!  :D

Those are just a few... the rest can be seen at http://family.webshots.com/album/559153755KbZpcp

Enjoy.
