Before the start of the ACE Coaster Con, we decided to head to Camden Park in Huntington, WV since we had never been there before. I'm definitely glad that we got to finally visit, but we probably won't go out of our way to visit again. As much as I hate to see any park close down, I'd have much rather seen Camden close than nice parks like Conneaut Lake or Joyland Kansas. Camden definitely isn't a non-smoking park as almost all of the ride ops were smoking away as they were operating the rides. The most memorable thing about the park was their long ride cycles. We were on the Whip a good 10+ minutes. Rich, Donna, Jan, and myself just kept looking at each other and cracking up because we couldn't believe how long we were on it.
