Anyone attending this years Eastcoaster 2008

When: Sat. Feb. 2, 2008. - register online by 1/17/08 www.aceonline.org/events
Where: Northampton Memorial Community Center (Northampton, PA) a few miles north of Allentown

I never miss it, I know CycloneMan is always there and always bidding on something

I hope Clementon Park goes this year and Maybe Morey ( two that i never seen at this event )
I know Great Adventure,Hershey,PKD and Dorney will be there with the new coasters for 2008 (wow 4 new coasters)

the last few years I won door prizes
I picked Dorney tickets and some other items
But the parks always give out Free perks and free tickets
I think Indiana beach and Lake Winnie gave out free passes as did PKD (exit passes)
PKD every years gives out free stuff.

but its good to see the many faces and see what "new" for 2008
I remember one Year Six Flags asked if anyone had a Great Adventure shirt on and if they did they got free passes
so wear a few park shirts

I ski and Blue Mt. is only like 10 miles away so I MAY try to go after the event ( a night session )
I know last year Tom Ribbi and Torrence Jenkins went skiing in the mourning before they had their presentations.

This sounds awesome. I am thinking about going, but I am not a member and it says that "non-members may only attend ACE events as the guest of a member." What should I do?

I dont have much time for these events. I'm to busy with other thing. Thats why I just go to parks during the spring, summer seasons.

Also, its KD, not PKD. I'm sorry, it just bugs me lol

Thats what everyone I know calls it, since when we talk about CFF parks on the internet we don't include CF within the abbreviations.

Yep
the same old faces

I'm excited for this years Eastcoaster
it's one of the biggest years for all the surrounding parks
with each major park getting a coaster in 2008 / 2009 and other Attractions.
when was the last time All major parks in this area had a new coaster at the same time ?
also Don't forget the Ravine Flyer 2

2008 will be a great year for Road trips

also SFNE Preservation event

etc. etc.

Since No Coaster Con will be held a few weeks earlier there will be some news out of that event for the Midwest and west.
But the northeast is where its at this year

I sent in the registration today for Febuary 1st and 2nd for Eastcoaster. It'll be my mom and I. We are going to do the Dorney Park Tour, spend the night at the Hilton in Allentown (there's an ACE Package there) and then do the confrence the next day. Possibly stop at the ACE archives before driving home!

Sweet. I am going with my dad. We still have to register, which I should have time to do tomorrow (which I guess is technically today since it is past 12am). I am so pumped to go. It should be awesome.
