Really??!?!?! If I had known that, I would be all over it!

Find me some info on it please! :) I hear from all of my "Chicago friends" that it's really fun, especially since theres a bar there, and the bumper cars are really fast, and violent like Knoebels!

Yeah, that sucks about Chiller...I hate to see it like that. Hey, so we should get a group picture or something ok. I'll call you later!

So if we got 10 of us... we can rent a court out for 2 hours for $32 a person... Hmmm... I'll let you know how fun it is when I get back :)

sounds good
my Brother my jump in on the event also and maybe a few more people.
we stopped by one day to check it out while riding by
the playfield look a little small but still looks fun.

Last week My friend and his Nephew  talked about going here to ICE Skate since the lakes are not frozen yet.

What kind of stuff do they have to bid on? What about to buy?
ACE has sales tables with back issues and shirts and stuff and some clearance items.
and others have sales tables.

all kinds of stuff the local parks bring to be auctioned off
I know Great Adv.  brought one of those ride signs.
I think  Coasten Steve brought in some flying turns stuff
Tom Ribbe from PTC always brings in all kinds of stuff and Custom coasters bring stuff.
stuff that no one really have
all proceeds go to the Rollercoaster museum or or the preservation fund.and is tax deductible .
there will also be all kinds of free hand outs like Wall size park calenders etc.

Remember this event you can chit chat with coaster designers / builders authors park reps etc. I tried to buy the Tsunami plaque that was on the front the coaster from PTC Tom ribbi. but he shot me down.
everyone is always very nice

And each park will have a 10-20 minute presentation of what's new for their park with updated slides photos and even some funny home made stuff.

I alway try to sit up front on the right so i can see the screens

yes we should all get a table near the front
or at least close to the front (park officials and presenters have the tables up close)

i like sitting close since the room is long and sitting in the back or middle i can't see the screen

i try to get there early anyway

Is anyone else doing the Dorney tour on Friday or PTC tour on Sunday?  Rich and I will be at both of them plus Eastcoaster itself.

IMPORTANT NEWS   updated 1/23/08

Due to severe space limitations in the ACE Archives facility (we are a victim of our own success),
the open houses scheduled for Friday and Saturday evening at Eastcoaster have been canceled.

The tour of Dorney Park on Friday and of PTC on Sunday will take place as planned. Directions to PTC will be available on Saturday at the registration table. We hope you are looking forward to a great event. Safe travel!

this is just the ACE archives open house nothing else
all other events are fine

I am thinking about going to the PTC tour on Sunday. Is there an extra fee??

everything is included in the price

Wait, does this mean the Eastcoaster convention on Saturday is cancelled?
