Anyone hitting up Eastcoaster 2009? I will be there again just to see Cycloneman bid against Matt

I will be updating this thread live during eastcoaster as i did last year

Good to see and talk with old friends and park personnel.

I will be there this year again. Last year I had a really great time. Everyone should look into this event especially if you like collecting brochures, maps, and other miscellaneous things.

For the first time in years I am off Saturdays and would love to attend, but silly me promised kids trip to Disneyland for little ones birthday. 2/8. With my luck there will be a blizzard and I'll go nowhere.

Also don't miss out on Morys Pier in Wildwood and the Progress of the New Woodie,the haunted "ghost ship" and the Golden Nugget.
Morys has been stepping it up.

And the best part of Eastcoaster is seeing old friends and getting up and personal with park personal which all are just so friendly.

And don't forget Door Prizes like season passes,POP etc. \/ 2 years ago I won 2 Dorney passes last year I won Morys hat and flip flops.

IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT EASTCOASTER

Eastcoaster WILL be held on Saturday, February 7 at the Northampton Community Center from 10 AM to 6 PM. Unfortunately the flyers have not yet gone out for Eastcoaster and deadlines are fast approaching. So I am requesting several things:

1) If you have not registered yet, please do so via of the ACE website. The website address is: www.aceonline.org. On the left hand side panel, scroll down to the events section and click on Eastcoaster. The deadline has been extended for getting a reservation at the Hilton Garden Inn, so if you are planning to stay there, please call and reserve your room ASAP.

2) I know these emails will not reach everyone, so please share this information with your friends/ fellow ACE members so they have a chance to register for the event. If they do not have access to a computer, please either print out a copy of the flyer from the website or have them call me and I will mail them one.

3) Your help in getting the word around is essential if this year will be another successful event. Please feel free to share this email with other members and those who normally attend. Do not wait for the flyer as I have no idea if or when it will be mailed.

4) Yes, we will be having the tour at Dorney Park on Friday afternoon, February 6. We will meet at the cafeteria between 3 and 3:30 PM and the tour will be from 3:30 to 5 PM.

We just talked to Cliff yesterday and there's only 77 people registered so far. Not very good considering there's less than a week left to register. ACE really needs to get on the ball with their mailings!

Oh well, more door prizes for those of us who do go!

I registered the other night.

I need to win some free passes this year I really don't need another hat or flip flops.
And can't wait to see whats going on with Moreys and the new coaster.
I'll have about 20 people going to the July event this year with me.
It was a great time and anyone that missed it should check it out this year.
they really pulled out all they had . FREE extreme rides some much food etc.
I will be doing 3-4 days this time
