Launched woodie built by Gravity Group with their new "Timberliner Trains". They're going to start clearing land out behind the flume and the ride will incorporate the lake as a splashdown, not once, but twice. Should be exciting to see this new ride progress.

Yeah, that sucks about Chiller...I hate to see it like that. Hey, so we should get a group picture or something ok. I'll call you later!

This is what my sources told me as well. They're not always right, but they were right about Big Bad Wolf, KD's new Giga next year and Geauga Lake closing.

Probably when 2010 season passes go on sale. That's the usual scheme. ;)

The restoration of the carousel will be complete with the addition of lockers; Sorry to spoil the surprise.

Rumors are circulating that each smoking section will offer premium seating.

Alright, sarcasm aside, as funny as some of those posts are lol...

Back on topic - The typical rumors are Dive Coaster, Drop Ride, Water Ride (in the theme park) or a Hurricane Harbor Slide of some sort.

I can tell you with a fairly high degree of confidence that a dive coaster isn't happening in 2010.  I've been wrong before but I'm fairly certain about this.

Who knows Wade. Maybe Gadv will be afraid that Doswell is getting a Gigacoaster like BGW and will have to build an amazing attraction to compete. :P

What Rob said. ;)

Seriously though, three years since El Toro is nothing. Wait another seven years and then tell me Great Adventure needs a new coaster. But only if they've taken care of their other problems first.

They've got plenty of "other" problems, but what parks doesn't. They've got the landscaping thing down, and operations seem to be light ears better than before. But they need to get a better preventive maintenance program going, install some more family friendly rides rather than just big thrill coasters, more flats, no more kiddie areas, added security (consistently)... that's just to name a few.

Too many to list.

The park is lacking in many things and coaster count is definitely NOT one of them.

They sort of already had one and gave it to Great America.

i'd settle for a nice antique car ride.
