That was by far the thickest smoke I ever saw the show throw up.  It was so thick that you could hear shells going off, but you couldn't even see the flash of color unless it was a shell that went off right near the edge of the smoke cloud.  The fog on the ride to take my friend home, then go home myself was, and still is ridiculously thick.  Maybe 200 feet of visibility max.

Yup another visit to the park and yet another chance to see the fireworks foiled by the weather . It was looking good there for awhile though . Oh well hopeful to see it before the end of the season ....6 times and counting
I have to say seeing KK disappear into the fog and some was crazy . Fog was bad driving home too .

They are going to try again tonight for 8:30. Weather looks great so it seems like it is happening.

Yes we sat down in the grandstands and it started out good (I seen Mark Kane standing in the center entrance watching) but just about 4 minutes in the FOG kept the smoke over the lake making it nearly imposable to see the firework
They then shut it down.

We all had a great time  10 minute wait for both Toro and Kingda ka
Ka was a walk on near the end of the night and they had 4 trains running all day
same with Nitro a walk on almost all day.

And Yes the Fog near the end of the night was very thick the Parachute lights looked like a UFO, Nitro you could only see the lift lights, could not see Ka, and the ride down 195 and the Turnpike was the most fog I ever seen on these roads

a great day to ride the "big" coasters with no waits
And the parked looked
- Very Clean
- All rides/coasters running with all train

I have some pics and video to post later

Not in my opinion. I like it a bit cloudy cause the tourists don't come.

Yeah that was it. There hasn't been any official announcement yet but they will most likely be back next summer

They resumed Saturdays show last night  starting with the Smashing Pumpkins.  The weather made for an amazing show. Clear skies with a full moon , wind blowing the smoke out and 70 degrees. It was the perfect setting.

Were there enough crowds on a Sunday night to actually see it?  I hope they got their money's worth by holding back the show for one night.  Those are the guests that you hope come back next season after seeing such an awesome fireworks display.

The bottom half of the Stadium was filled.  The crowd never showed up last night, it was rather empty around the park.

It was empty again yesterday? That's pretty weird. Was it more than the 6,000-10,000 people there on Saturday?

Seeing not even half a parking lot filled on a Fright Fest night was unusual. To hear it happened twice...

Uggghhh.  I know we all enjoy the walk-on's but they NEED a huge crowd to show up.  Fright Fest is where they make up the bad weather weeks from the Spring.

Dead Man's party @ 9:30 had about 200 people around me.  The Haunt queue was empty near Nitro as well.  When I pulled up I said the same thing , "Wow the parking lot is empty"   Ka , two train wait at 6:30 for the second row. Again at 7:30 three train wait.   Nitro,  One train wait for the back at 9 o'clock.  Houdini's Great escape one pre show wait.  It was great riding that again.   Yeah it was Dead.   Great seeing friends of the park, as well as hanging with Steff, Matt , Ken and John squared!

For the last few years, the first weekend has never really been that busy. It is always the following weekend. I am hoping for the park to be busy next weekend for Columbus Day.

^ I would agree with that, the closer it gets to Halloween each weekend becomes busier and busier.   Nice to hear Faith is doing better Wade.

It always gets packed by halloween because people think you get a better scare when it's closer to the 31st.

I really would like to know how many shells they set of in that finale!

I have to give some huge kudos to Six Flags Guest Relations.
My Dad and my Brother (aka John squared) went with me to see the fireworks on saturday night.
We knew it was not looking good and this would become the third failed attempt for my brother.
They really wanted to go Sunday to see the conclusion, but I used up all my Season Pass coupons.
So I told them to call Guest Relations and see if they could do anything to get in just to see the fireworks conclusion.
Guest Relations was extremely kind and offered tickets at an insanely low price!!
And my brother finally got to see the show!
They both thought it was amazing (the fireworks and the treatment they got from guest relations).
