Always good to see the park cares about its guests. I usually use my season pass to let people get the souvenir discounts.

Hope to see the fireworks next year . Way too many rain and wind cancellations this year hope that the weather will hold up better next summer . We went 6 times and only saw the one smashing pumpkins song our of 6 trips . It did look amazing though for the little that we seen.

Wade glad to hear Faith is feeling better today .

Hopefully they stay next year. The lakeside grandstands haven't been used for anything other than the fireworks lately.

Finally saw the show last night. OMG! That was amazing! It's way better than the New York City 4th of July show! Saturday Night Lights is the best attraction at Great Adventure. It's better than ride they've got. It would be a real shame to lose it.

It looks like the 2010 events calendar is filling up nicely.
And it looks like Saturday Night Lights is making a return for the 2010 season!

I'm happy it's returning too.  Now I have another season to get my girlfriend to see it.  Last time I took her, the wind ruined the show.

Glad to see the show returning. It was by far the most spectacular attraction at the park. It was more enjoyable than the July 4th fireworks I saw in New York City a couple summers ago.

sort of... It depends on the weather, and where the ride is in the park.

They do to a point, but the rides close at 10:00, and that's when the fireworks start.

The close off the lines at park closing and run them out. So as long as you are in line already you are fine.

el toro waits in july/ early august on sat night were 20 min tops -i was a single rider though, entering el toro's line there usually 950pm. So it was easy to be watching the fireworks on el toro for my last ride. On july 4th you can see all of the shore's fireworks from the top of el toro right after the cable lift hill. They look like little colored ping pong balls exploding along the horizon continually..

You will not be able to get anywhere close to the lake to see the fireworks on July 4th as they close off the area due to the high concentration of people packed there just after 10pm

If you want a seat in the stadium any other saturday, be there 945, which is right after your done seeing the parade, if you're trapped at batman's exit. ;)

Why do I somehow expect Saturday Night Lights to be the next thing to get cut by the anti-Shapiro regime?

Man, I hope not. The fireworks are better than any of the rides there. Not that the rides suck, but the fireworks are quite the special attraction that gives the place some pizazz IMO.

I believe they are changing a few of the songs. Hopefully they also move the barges back a bit too.

Saturday Night Lights start with a bang and ends abruptly!
The 4th of July Saturday Night Lights show was packed! Which was kind of strange as the parking lot was pretty empty.
Many new songs..  Jimi Hendrix - Kiss the Sky was my new favorite and Sweet Child 'O Mine does make a return.
For a full review you will have to wait for my next viewing as the show was cut short.
Lets just say maybe they should move the barges back a little further than they already did :o.

Wow, I thought they were planning on having it every Saturday through Labor Day Weekend anyway. Wish they would add some more dates! I could watch this show every night. It's so awesome!
