A SFInsider Update- March 24, 2006
« on: March 24, 2006, 01:28:54 PM »
March 24, 2006 - :=)SFI(=:

Only one more week,
until we open the gate.
Fun and excitement lingers,
most patrons cannot wait.
Unfortunately I cannot give my identity away,
but I do want to take this time and say what I came to say.

:=)SFI(=:

The park is looking great,
since Mark Shapiro called.
There are tons of new trees,
and many plants waiting to be installed.

:=)SFI(=:

All the coasters have been cruising,
so just keep your minds steady.
And all you Chiller fans don't worry,
Chiller:Blue will be ready.

:=)SFI(=:

Ka has been running,
Superman and Medusa too.
How many have seen Runaway Mine Train's new paint scheme?
Haha yess, only a few.

:=)SFI(=:

I have said too much,
so I'll leave you with this tune.
One of our most anticipated attractions,
may not be ready until...

:=)SFI(=:

until may.  I think thats what your trying to say anyway.

I must say.. you have way too much time on your hands.. though i think you might be one of those people from the park that tag along the forums.  Anyways.. if that is a way for GADV and SFI to give us news.. ill take it.  I think its pretty clever myself.

How many times has someone come onto the boards claiming to be an insider with a hot tip. If this comment is off-base, I'm sorry in advance.
Are you ready to send those commies running back to their mommies?

My job isn't to get you to believe me,
my job is to keep vital information down low.
My job isn't to convince you I am "inside,"
my job is to make sure that you KNOW.

I could have swore that the park put something out that Chiller Blue will not be ready for opening day, but soon after.  We know that Toro won't be done for opening, or maybe not even opening month...nothing suprising.
Great Adventure...taking over the world one record at a time.

Wow, everyone is so skeptical.  Have a little faith guys.  I believe I have heard that Chiller Blue will be ready for opening.  Toro and RT won't be ready, but that is kind of expected.  Try to stay positive, we're all so used to the negative from last season, but hopefully it will change.
Still alive, contrary to popular belief.

OH NO! This cannot be good,
You should all know this,
yes you all should.
I was told the Chiller's Batman side,
may not infact be prepared to ride.
This even has me upset I must say,
Chiller: Blue is down for Opening Day.

:=)SFI(=:

The scenery is looking pretty in all,
you can even take a quick "45" by the FreeFall.

:=)SFI(=:

Will the "old que" to Kingda Ka return?
It doesn't look that way.
It was permanently blocked off,
when I snuck over there yesterday.

:=)SFI(=:

In other news,
the park is looking very nice.
All the new scenery will infact entice.
The Bull seems to moving slowly,
as I look down from Parachutes and see it below me.
The word is being passed from baboon to baboon,
that our rockin' bull will not open until..

No worries everyone, Chiller Blue may indeed be opening after all sometime during the weekend.  Although there's no guarantee the latest word from the park indicates a minor setback was resolved ahead of schedule.  If weather cooperates and testing goes well Chiller Blue will be running by Sunday!

And hello everyone!  I?m James and as you can tell I am new here.  I have just come across this community and look forward to conversing with all of you.
Instead of complaining about what's wrong why not suggest how to fix it?

I never knew Mr. Shapiro was a poet....
Then again, if he is, I still don't know it...

And Great Adventure remains my favorite park,
not that place in P.A. with the Ark...

On Friday I shall be at SFGA
Standing in line and ready to play

Though invited to Georgia to ride the big new coaster..
I'd rather be in Jersey, the place with the most-er.

That place in Sandusky? the Place on the Lake?
My favorite park?  That's a mistake!
I'm probably the only one who to the point prefers Geauga Lake!

And yet in some ways it will be a day to grieve,
Cause I am still missing and will always miss Steve.

A circuit on Nitro, at least one on Medusa, from Nathan's a dog...
Spring is here at last, this will have to do for a blog.

And yet other friends will at the park no longer be...
A ride on Rolling Thunder with Gail is not something I foresee.

And on us and management Shapiro played a new trick...
There is no need to look for Rick.

And finally, I must say, the US's best new wood....
One with THE steepest first drop on its voyage,
That rumbles in Jersey, not in Kentucky...
Will be the last to open this year, even if we're lucky!!
