Opening day has been set. May the 6th for opening day, and May the 4th for preview night. Therefore....

108 days! until I have a Leviathan review. Fingers Crossed

Shoe.. have you seen the head chopper going into this overbank?

I am very interested to see how this "high speed curve" will turn out.

This coaster looks good with the snow on the ground, CW should keep the snow down all year round, imo.

Insane update. Good photo's, as well as video. Hints about themeing... learned that CW will have fast pass next year. blahh!

Sorry about all the updating, just really pumped about this one.

That really makes the park entrance epic

I love that overbank. Probably won't ride as cool as an Intamin overbank, but still awesome!!

did anyone notice how squirly the track angels look from right underneath this hammerhead. It was in the update.

Also if you look in the same update on todays post there are train pictures. They pretty much look exactlty like you would think. There was red involved though. Didn`t see that coming.

It's because it's not an elliptical overbanked turn like Intamin makes. It's more like a straight climb into an overbanked turn at the top and then a straight drop out of it.

It looks awesome until the midcourse brake. Then it just goes down a long ramp to the brake run. ;)

Really hoping to.  It would have been easy (and free!) 2 years ago when I covered Canada for work but at least I know my way around.  I really need to get back and can't think of a better reason.

The flume is $5 with free entry to the park FYI. Parking maybe 7-10. At least last year this was the case. Grounds entry used to cost like 8 bucks or something, but they changed it to free recently.

Looks like its safe for now. Just browsed the site, and there is nothing about a west island overhaul yet.. It's been rumoured for a while. Here is a link to the park map.

There really isn't a whole lot else to do here. They have good movies and the cinisphere(imax theatre) and in the summer they have a great concert ampithreatre... Maybe Rush will be playing it some time this summer. :)

Very near completion.. 2nd airtime hill done, all thats left if the left turn to the break run. This hill seems very looong, and drawn out. At 70 mph it should still give a good punch.

There are rumors already that we are getting a launched intamin over the white water canyon in 2013. My guess would be not.

The fact that Cedar Fair finally pony'd up the money for B&M to build a 300-footer instead of going with the cheaper Intamin product leads me to believe they won't be purchasing anymore Intamin coasters, at least not for their high-profile high-attendance parks where minimizing down time is crucial.

This coaster is looking better and better the more its built. The 3D renderings didn't really do it justice.
