Good news everyone! Chiller Blue is open for business and I got 7 rides on it tonight and it was flying!

Ha Ha Joe... I feel the same way... I was having one of the worst nights at work, and I kept getting text massages and phone calls saying things like "Chiller Blue is open" "The park is dead" "Batman Chiller is almost hitting the breaks at the top"

Speaking of Batman:The Chiller, When i headed for it, Chuck happened to be there waiting for it to open, we got on the First Train in 2 YEARS! It was awsome but it was ashame it broke down way too much last night...

I believe it was a soft opening meaning alot of inspections to make sure its working for the long run....Robin I fear is going to suffer downtime though! I also believe I heard both sides were closed?

Robin did open mid-afternoon. Which could indicate they were going over Batman after running it the night before and couldn't run Robin at the same time. I find it interesting as well that the trians were out back. Those that were there Friday night will remember the freaky launch problem Batman had. Perhaps they are looking at the station LIMs?

Anyway, even though the thread states its open, you still won't know if it will be open on your particular visit until you get there. At least for now.

I was at the park from 10:30-12:30 today and Batman did not launch once. However, Robin was pretty consistent.

Brian (twistedrails) just proclaimed both sides up and running, not launching at the same time though but still meeting during the launch and cobra roll. A rare shot indeed.

I got the fortune of having 6 BTR rides on Thursday. It was running great, and as soon as it hit the breaks, Robin was already in the Cobra Roll! It was amazing, and I kind of wish a line didn't start to form! :lol:
