Two Trains on El Toro
« on: June 24, 2006, 08:30:00 AM »
Just an FYI - I was at the park all day Friday and El Toro had both trains running in the evening.  For our first ride around 11am, still only one train was running but later when we returned for our second ride in the evening after the thunderstorms, both trains were running and very efficiently.  I'll have a trip report sometime later.

They really had it down tiwh the two trains too.  I was suprised and impressed with the rather timely dispatches.

This is excellent news. How have the lines been since then? I'm heading up there on Monday and Wendesday depending on weather, and I'm sure 2 trains running will keep the line down to a minimum.

Yeah, that sucks about Chiller...I hate to see it like that. Hey, so we should get a group picture or something ok. I'll call you later!

I'm going to Hurricane Harbor on Tuesday so I'll stop by El Toro later in the night to see how it is running. Maybe I'll use my Exit Pass since its going to expire in 5 days anyways.

So how long was the typical wait for El Toro yesterday?  And for Kingda Ka?

I waited for 40 minutes for KK, with a breakdown. Used my Exit pass on El Toro. And waited another 20 minutes for one train to be dispatched on RT.   The line for El Toro seemed to be an hour long, but I wouldn't know because I have never queued yet.  ;D

I too was very impressed with the quick dispatch times.  They were doing a great job!  Having the attendants put down the lap bars for you doesn't add much time at all.  Kudos to the Toro crew!
