I wonder how the crowds will be  ??
How many gay people will be there anyway ?
Do you have to show a Gay badge  ?
So it looks like it will be adult only  ?
Isn't this Labor Day weekend  ?

not that there is anything wrong with that  LOL (from Seinfeld)

Just another day I was planning to go  but not now  :(
Unless My Wife and I can make pretend we are gay

AFAIK, anyone and everyone can come to the park that day.  You just have to 'be prepared' LOL.  I wouldn't expect it to be any different than normal.  I've seen plenty of lesbians making out all over the park this season.

Actually, anyone CAN go to the park that day, but everyone will be asked to leave at 6PM.  It's sort of a private event as the park has been booked by Twisted Life.  There's a special fee for admission and season passes will not be honored from 6PM - 1AM.  But anyone can attend as long as you have your special ticket.  There could be thousands of people in the park during those hours, but the lines won't be as long as on a regular day when there's even more people there!  This has been going on for years now and it's a big success.  it's like one huge dance party with the DJ's set up in the middle of the park cranking out hot music.  And years ago, there were bars set up serving Absolute martinis and other cocktails.  It's fun!  You don't have to pretend to be anything, just be "prepared", accepting, tolerant and respectful.

/\  I figured it was only a matter of time when I first saw the post.  It goes without saying to just ignore...

Updates is about keeping people informed.  We also don't believe it censoring stuff (although the forum censor snagged cocktails lol) so I'll let all posts stay and let the readers be the judge ;).  For what its worth, the employees in the past have loved working this event.  Some of the best behaved guests of the season will be there.

Yeah, I just fixed that.  Forgot to click something to prevent stupid censors like that. LOL

I think pcman's post wasn't serious with the 'sick' part anyway, since he put 'LOL' after it.

Yes
It was a joke  :)
I have friends that are gay and it doesn't bother me one bit.
I kid with them all the time that is my personality I'm always joking around.
And just for the record I believe they should be able to marry if they like.
The event sounds cool with a big party atmosphere.
I wish they could have a "Adults night" like that for all.
Peterpjr don't take me seriously.
Have fun and ride Kingda Ka in the Front seat it's worth the wait. :)

Will the rides be open till 1am or close at ten.  Are q-bots Available ?  I still need night rides on Kingda ka and El Toro and this would be an excellent time for that since the park closes at 9 the days I can go.   Lucky for me Bounce is right down the street for tickets.

The rides are open all night until 1AM.  I don't think they use QBots though.  I am a season pass holder and never use QBot.  I figure I can come to the park all I want, so I don't mind standing in line.  Great people watching and even making new friends (sometimes enemies  lol - just kidding).  I just got bck from Herhsey Park & Dorney Park and they do not have have any sort of Qbot / Flash Pass and the parks operate just fine.

I do agree that an adult night would be cool (nothing against the youngsters).  They could also have a teen night for that matter.  Actually, once a month, Six Flags could have a special themed night if they wanted.

Anyway, pcman, thanks for clarifying that you were joking around.  Of course if we don't know you, we wouldn't know that that is your personality (now we do).  And with so many anti-gay remarks always being made, I too, like peterpjr, was taken aback by your comments.  But then I thought....you did type LOL, so you might be kidding.

I think it's cool that this website is here and that we have such a vast Six Flags GA community, with people of all walks of life!  Keep riding the coasters, y'all!  And everyone, let's try to preserve our beautiful park!  Please don't litter or grafiti the park any further.  The park has been at it's best this year - keep it up!  It can only get better - but people have to really show their appreciation by not destroying what we have.  It only takes one person to ruin it for others.

Thanks for clarifying.  I also am a person who jokes around a lot and if you don't know someone personally on here, it is hard to figure out what is a joke.  You probably are the kind of person that I would love to be around.  Why don't you come with your wife.  It should be a lot of fun.

I would like to go but I already put out $ for a season pass and parking pass etc.
But the atmosphere I'm sure will be Fun like a party/club.
If I could use my pass I would be there as I'm sure the lines won't be to bad and I also haven't been on Kingda Ka or El Toro at night yet.
Enjoy and Welcome to Gadvupdates

I'm also a season pass holder, I just want to ride El Toro 15 times instead of 3 in one night. Looks like I might be going since the rides will be open till 1am !

Actually, the park is closed to the public that day.  The only days the park is officially open are the first and last Fridays.  In the middle there is the gay night, the season pass night, and probably another event on that other Friday.  I would check to make sure season passes are accepted before going.
Still alive, contrary to popular belief.

No need to check.  Season passes are NOT accepted for private park buy-outs, and that is what this is.  If you the group buying out the park is paying to buy it out, they wouldn't get much of a deal if anyone who showed up with a pass was admitted.  It doesn't work that way.

Want to go?  Buy a ticket.  Don't buy a ticket?  Unless you are working there, you won't be getting in! :)

Now about foods and drinks. Are they included in Admission or what? Besides ERT on rides, what are some other perks of going that night?
