My Fright Fest Review-now posted

I haven't had time to write my full review or upload the pictures just yet but I did want to pass along before the day was over that we had a GREAT time last night.  The park looked amazing, the operations were great and Fright Fest was actually pretty good!

I had the pleasure of attending opening night for Fright Fest on 9/29.   I have to agree with you Wade, the park looked amazing.  The shows were great, the employees really get into their rolls and everyone looked like they were having a lot of fun.  The operations went smoothy.  Ka was down a couple of times but not for too long.  The best part of the evening that there was almost no crowds.  The only real line was at Toro and that line was maybe half hour max.  I did not go on any of the Halloweeen themed rides like the hayride.

I think Firghtfest is by far the best time at the Park.  I love the feeling and the excitement.

One more thing.  I am new to this site this year and have only met one person on the site.  I see a lot of the same faces at the park each time that I go and wonder if they are people on this site.  In fact on Friday, I saw three people that I saw the previous Friday waiting in line to get into the park and thought they have to be on the updates.  One kid in line yelled over to the lady inl line and said hi Sue.  I thought this has to be Coaster Sue.  Sue was that you.  You were with one guy that I always see and a girl.  Sue if that was you, were the other people with you on the Updatess?

Did they have the cockroach eating? Was there a line for it?

That terror trail was amazingly themed....great idea...now they just need to get more scares in it!  I think the park was great cause it was so empty.  At the end of the night on Nitro the park was so perfect....just a cloud of fog over the whole thing.

The link Nick gave is wrong now because I had to adjust the volume on one part of the video, sorry about that. Now check it out at YouTube or download it, it'll be up on the site sometime tonight.

Friday night crowds were nearly non-existant.  It was somewhat disturbing to be honest.  I'm praying it picks up a bit.  Toro and Ka were the only "real" waits all night.  Usually running 20-30 minutes.

fyi - Kingda Ka is having troubles getting warmed up.  It opened a little late on Friday night because it was simply to cold.  Otherwise, the ride was fine.
