Things are looking up for Six Flags already

I'm not sure how many of you check the news bar and stock bar on the left but the past few news releases are very positive news.  The stock bumped back over 6 after the news of obtaining new (and better) credit.  Being able to refinance much of its debt so soon is a very good thing.

Then, the news that 1Q revenue is already 19% better than this time last year during a quarter that only accounts for 5% of yearly revenues is very impressive as well.  Factor in the horrible weather in a few key markets and it looks even more impressive.  A few parks (including Gadv) had to even close for a day due to the nor' easter.  They also opened many parks later in the year and are operating fewer hours.  This news has already taken the stock to 6.25.

To me, this is the new plan finally being realized.  And if it keeps up, we shouldn't be seeing the budget whacking that occurred late last year.

I have been keeping pretty close watch of the stock because I am involved in a virtual exchange.
I hope things keep going this direction, things are looking very good.

Well, this is the time where you either cring for owning Six Flags or hit yourself for not already owning it.  IMO, if things are good enough we might see the ticker creep near 7 bucks (how long has that been lol).  Keep a watch through the rest of the week starting today

I love it! The stock has been going up consistently lately and I know Gadv is doing alot to improve upon all the little things in the park. This is good news.

fyi - the fact that the stock dropped a little didn't really have much to do with SFI.  The entire market took a dive this last week.

Now who else is wondering when Cramer and Shapiro are coming to Great Adventure?
