TR Dutch Wonderland 5/26
« on: May 29, 2007, 04:14:20 PM »
We headed to Dutch Wonderland for a 1/2 day on Saturday as part of the Western New York Coaster Club event.  The day started with an hour of ERT on both Joust and Kingdom Coaster.

One of the highlights of the day was our take-over of the Bumper Cars.  We did the synchronized bumper car routine where someone leads and everyone else follows behind in single file so when the first person bumps the wall it's a chain reaction.  For being in a family park, these were some really fast and hard hitting bumper cars.  The op was so amused by our antics that he gave us an extra long ride.

Note to Chuck:  They're building a Sonic right next to Dutch Wonderland.   ;D

I really hate Joust....that was a not a pleasant ride back in the day and it almost scared me away from coasters forever.

It looks like a really nice park Sue. I get in for free again. Why is Clementon sending away yet another perfectly good ride???
Prepare to weather the storm!

Better then that chippy old white paint of how it use to be. I think the bright new colors would attract me more then the old paint.
