Well, for the past two years I've been going to Lake Compounce on the 28th of September. It's a great time to go, the lines are non-existant and that means plenty of Boulder Dash rides and no waiting for the Haunted Graveyard(which is AMAZING).

So far I know Rob and Ian are joining me....

Anyone else interested?

I never been to LC
so I would love to go

as of now I'm about 95% going
i have been wanting to get up there and ride BD and all the other credits and check out the graveyard

Tom, it's good times. I'm sure you'll like BD... the one credit, the Kiddie Coaster won't be open, but that will give you a reason to go back again

That and the sky ride won't be open, that's a really fun ride that isn't open that Friday night unfortunatly. The other "haunted walk through's" are very good as well. You won't be dissapointed!

We just found out this weekend that LC is having a concert on that Friday night in order to increase attendance. I've never heard of the band, which I think is called The Last Good Night, but I'm sure it will increase the crowd.

We rode BD for the first time with the new trains this weekend and weren't very pleased. Tom Rebbie needs to be whacked over the head with those hollow seat dividers. They are evil tortoure devices and I have the bruises on my side to prove it. The area from the bottom of the first drop to the boulder drop has gotten extremely rough as well.

Minus the seat dividers Sue, was the ride any different? Or did the seat dividers bother you that much that you couldn't "focus"?

The seat dividers did bother me a lot so I was trying to hold on and avoid some pain. Othan than that, it did seem quite "bouncy" and definitely rougher than it was when we last rode in June. I don't know if it was due to the track getting worse, the Hershey train, or a combination of both.

I'm not sure I'd even want to. We left early this Sunday even with the line in the station.

BTW, anyone up for joining us on the morning of 9/29 to go ride the Mountain Coaster at Jiminy Peak? I've heard it's awesome!

I went skiing at Jimminy Peak a few times on my why up to Vermont Stratton

That ride does look cool

I've never heard of them but they look like the typical EMO, crybaby band. Not very family friendly like you'd expect from a LC concert. Where in the park are they playing anyway??? I'll be sure to reserve my Graveyard time during the concert so we don't have to be in a mad rush.

It sounds like the plan is to have the concert at the stage next to Zoomerang or in the Ballroom if the weather is bad.
