TTD Stalls at top 6/24/05 (Video)

They should make the elevator an up charge ride. I would love to stand at the top of either TTD or KK.

Ha! When I was at Cedar Point, I was talking to this guy I met in line for Millie, and I was telling him how a train got stuck on top of TTD's tophat. Some ugly wannabe Paris Hiltons were listenin and were like "YEA RIGHT!!!!" They also didn't believe me when I was telling the guy that TTD is not the fastest roller coaster in the world because "The sign wouldn't lie"  :roll:

Anyways......Damn, I wish I was up there!  :lol:

I was at CP for the first time when this happened. I was near the station for Millie when people coming off were like did you see that Dragter is stuck? I looked through the trees and sure enough it was. It took about 20 minutes to get it down.

^ Oh and I got into this argument the next day while I was in the Dragster station because I had my KK shirt on and the employes at Dragster, Gemini, Magnum, Disaster Transport, and Wicked Twister were all angry at me because I had the shirt on.

I saw that a while ago and I wish I was on that train that got stuck at the top of TTD. I wonder if it could happen on KK, which would be totally awesome. Cause you get like:

"OMG Rollback! No, wait! Forwards. No STUCK!"

^ I actually believe that incident is the reason why KK has no back row. Now, the middle car wouldn't be able to saddle because the front car would be about 300-500 lbs heavier than the back car.

I really just love the crude-ness of the solution of this problem.

^Not true. The lack of a back row would have no effect on the balance of a the train, it just moves the center of gravity.

As for Ka stopping at the top, I think the brake will help prevent that...

The brake wouldn't do anything, because by the time the train hits the brake, the 1st half of the train is over the center point of it stalling up there.

But, Dragster basically has the same thing as Ka, reversed. It only has one pair of seats in the front car, while KK has only one pair in the back car.
