Opening Memorial Day Weekend — Something bizarre has taken place at Six FlagsGreat Adventure. The transformed Medusa has become Bizarro, a multi-sensory ride experience that will take you to another dimension of thrill. Known for his clumsy and destructive attempts to emulate Superman, everything in Bizarro's world is twisted and backwards. The Bizarro experience begins the moment you enter the ride queue line through a custom-created comic book story. Climb aboard the newly-designed coaster cars with custom built audio in the headrest. Experience the sensation of flying as your feet dangle above the track. Plummet at 60 mph through Bizarro's freeze vision "cool zone." Twist and turn through seven loops, then blast past bursts of Bizarro 's fire breath and race by bizarre scenes and illusions. This mind-boggling 3,985-foot twisting journey of storytelling and high tech elements will take your imagination to another dimension.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Noon, May 13thThe story of strange happenings taking place all over the Northeast area is just too big for the Daily Planet. So you guys are going to have to help me out in my investigation of the story. In return, I’ve set up a deal with Six Flags. People who submit the bizarre videos or pics of strange incidents will get to go to "Preview Day" for free*, and check out the new Bizarro coasters at Six Flags Great Adventure or Six Flags New England before anyone else! Here’s how it works -- if you can find any strange, odd, or abnormal activities around you, record them. Use a video camera or a regular camera. Usually it’s things that are just the opposite of what they should be -- dogs feeding their masters. Snow in the summer. Garbage trucks that take garbage to homes and spill the trash on the street. Or just things that are a little twisted, weird, or out of the ordinary. If your video or pic is strange enough, we’ll post it here -- and you could be one of the first to ride the all-new Bizarro rides.Good luck, and thanks!Lois Lane(*While supplies last. Terms and Conditions apply.)
I love this ride. New or Old. Just the one thing I don't like about it is how loud it is. There must be a sound ordinance that the ride is close to, but it isn't breaking it. I think It would be better if they filled the track with something to quiet the ride down like Talon in Dorney Park(On the RCDB, They said it's filled with sand). This could also help the specFX of Bizarro cause you could hear the script better.
