Well there are many types of steel coasters. With wood coaster there are Out&Back's and Twisters. We have an Out and Back and a Twister/Out&Back. What other style of wooden coaster wood you want at Gadv?

Nitro's tree seem really close when riding it. Then when I think about it so does RMT. I would like a fast paced woodie running throw the woods behind the lake and peaking over the tree tops but I don't see it happening. A dive Machine across the lake however...haha

Woodies give different rides from one another due mainly to the maintenance they get from the park. Lots of people like them because the ride feels like a "live" experience because of the "give" of the wood. I've heard people refer to steel coasters as stale. The layout/style also makes a difference, as it does with steel. The wooden coaster can also be designed in the cyclone style-or a triple out-and-back with a figure 8 layout and a double out-and back layout. GAdv uses the figure-8 and the racer on RT...of course

Yes and they also have double figure eights, and the mobius loop, where you do a circuit on the track but end in the other station. and dueling coasters, like gwazi and dueling dragons

I Have heard people say that even though I am not sure why. Nitro is a great overall ride!

of course it is. all it needs is a new logo on the station and a fresh coat of paint, and it'll practically be brand new!

i agree. nitro hasnt had new paint since it opened and is like medusa was two years ago. they could just repaint it different colors and not the whole shabang like medusa. I like black purple and yellow for a new color scheme.

Why don't they give it blue supports, silver center track and rails. and re-color the yellow on the train to silver?

No Nitro is a good ride I do not really think it needs a paint job for now. Can you imagine Six Flags Over Texas gets a huge "new" coaster.(Texas Giant) SFGA gets a paint job for Nitro?

I can see the paint fading from Forked River.
Nitro needs new paint more than a Chance Chaos ride needs new parts.

Nitro looks ok, except for the rails. Hopefully they will redo the color scheme with something more pleasing. The colors always seemed way out of place. Perhaps they will finally do it the way it was intended and call it Superman.

i think rolling thunder or maybe rt but not kingdas ka or suf there perty new and they do have very good lines. well havve to wait till next year though. we will see

Both of the rides you mentioned arent going anywhere. they are both major attractions and runaway train has been at the park since it opened in 1974. Plus gadv cant afford to lose two wooden coasters that would leave the wood coaster count at 1.

^Technically, RT is counted as one.
Runanway Train is an exceptional youth ride with good reliability.
^^SUF can leave cause it's easy to to rotate.
^^Kingda ka could leave if it has another major problem with it.

I do not think they will take KK out. As long as it holds the record for being the tallest coaster in the world, it will probably stay.

At least for a little longer. Remember we had chiller for a decade and it wasn't even a record breaker.

Only reason why we had it for a decade was because they thought the problems were fixed.

Maybe it had to do with all the intamin superman coasters going up around that time. 3 superman hypers from 99 to 2000.
