Or perhaps it was placed in a location where it couldn't easily be seen? Or I guess it could have been flying from place to place and we kept missing it.

I guess we'll all know for sure come next Spring

Rolling Thunder is a classic racing woodie, there's not many of them left. although it is old, it is still reliable and always seems to draw a crowd even on an empty day. By those means, Rolling Thunder does take up some space good for another coaster, but so does GASM and don't count out chillers old spot, too.

I really hope we get something else besides a coaster for the 50th anniversary. The park is in dire need for some good quality flats or even a good dark ride, since we don't have any.

You make it seem like the park likes having Ka closed.The park can't control it's down time in most cases.
