The Glow in the Park Parade is Back!

The Glow in the Park parade is back for the 2009 season! It ran a preview last night and will be running the next three days.

Clint was lucky enough to get a video of the parade, which we have here!

Still looks good, and there seem to be a few new floats! I'll have to make it there to see it soon.

If you want to see it, this is the schedule according to the park:

See the Glow in the Park Parade on May 23-25, 30, June 6, 13, 19, 20, 21, then daily from June 26 - August 30, plus September 4-6.

Also, if you head to the park tonight (Saturday, 5/23) there are rumors that you could be in for an extra surprise!

Hey GACoaster. You are a man of photography. How can I make my night shots easier to take with a Canon DSLR? Last night I had to keep doing it on half a second shutter speed to get enough light to be visible. Would increasing the ISO speed help out there in reducing the shutter speed?

Crank up the ISO.   The higher the ISO the better for night shots.  Try some experiments with different ISO settings until you get he right balance.   Night shots around 1600 usually seem to work best.

Awesome job on the video!  That is just awesome and now I'm totally bummed for not making it there this weekend .  I love how they added in the looney tunes music.  Unfortunately, it appears they had a bit of a sync issue with the audio afterwards though.   Did they go back to the parade music after it finished or did it complete with Mr. Six?  I hope they still let us walk out to the parade song as it really gave it that disney feel.

It completed with Mr. Six I believe. I don't really know as I was staged at the beginning of the parade so when Mr. Six went by, I headed up towards the gates to see Steve before I left.

The new float is incredible!!!

I just wish they would swap the new float and the Looney Tunes float.   "That's All Folks!" followed by Daffy was the best way to end the parade.

 I agree with you on that one Tom, They should swap those too Float's. And last Night they were having some problem's with the "Dragon" Float's music by the Carousel. It was "skipping" pretty bad.

Was it really? It was fine over by the Big Wheel as it went by.

 I was watching with my Family and Paul (from Public Relation's) and his Family, and it was pretty bad. Only that Float though, Everything else was Great. I don't know if it's a CD or not, but it sounded like one that was dirty or had a scratch.

Maybe I didn't notice it because why would it be fine at Big Wheel and not at the carousel...hmm.
