Cedar Fair doesn't believe in dark rides, and is known for removing them left and right. And, when they try to theme, the result is often...how to be charitable?...uh, interesting. See Disaster Transport at Cedar Point, The Crypt at Kings Island, etc.
That is true. Imagine if someone had come on this site's predecessor and predicted the topping of Top Thrill Dragster plus a hill at Ye Olde Home Park the year before...back then...
Cedar Fair doesn't have enough money and credit at this point to buy Six Flags Great Adventure's trash cans, much less the park.
Another item to look forward to is Six Flags plans to create and market their own unique characters and content. This allows them to own them outright, and that falls down the line to merchandise, goodwill, and more, much of which helps them extend the Six Flags brand.
