First generation INTAMIN drop rides, like Demon Drop and the much missed Stuntman's Freefall were awesome rides.  They remain about the only drop rides that actually give me a pit in my stomach...as they make that little bounce right after they get to the top and before they roll out to the drop.

Dorney is not a place I'd have put this, but Cedar Fair is not in the best of financial shape at the moment.

Looks like Lasers old location has filled in nicely.

Looks like Lasers old location has filled in nicely.

What are you talking about?  It's an asphalt pad, just as it was before...Laser was a portable coaster...and nothing but water is on the pad where Laser was...

Laser was in incredible ride.  And when one has the low expectations for Cedar Fair's theming and park heritage respect that I do, it is difficult to see sarcasm through the usual attitudes towards Cedar Fair.

I didn't see the sarcasm! :)

Laser was quite fun. But the horrible operations made it annoying to ride more than once per visit.

I don't know if incredible is quite the word I would have used. But it's defiantly a fun ride, and way better than it gets credit for.

The first time I rode it some dope tried to film it from the front row. At which time the ride opps stopped the ride, and we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to restart the lift. Annoying! The same guy held open the exit gate for everyone as an apology. So you would think lesson learned... Well didn't the same guy get caught trying to film from the front row of VooDoo 5 minutes later. Ejected from the park at 11:00 a.m. Nice work.

Out of curiosity why did Dorny/CF sell of laser? Was it because it doesn't draw anybody extra, and it is transportable? If old Arrow Loopers were more easily transportable do you think parks would sell them of too.

They should put in a laser tag right were laser was. Just for Irony sake. ;)
