2024 Rumors

I'm mostly curious if anybody actually sees this and replies LOL

I am not commenting on the speculation of a major attraction right now but it does appear as though the park is set on refurbishing what is left from opening day.

While shells of their former selves, Granny's and Yum Yum Cafe did just receive relatively major updates.  The carousel is currently being repainted by our friends at Baynum and it appears the Saw Mill and Giant Wheel are about to also go through a very significant refurbishment.  All of this to say, while we are very likely saying goodbye to the Northern Star, it does appear they are investing in opening day attractions to celebrate the upcoming 50th which is very exciting to see .

I came back to see if this site still existed....and hopefully play the arcade games!!

I've heard rumors of a hot air balloon will be in operation too and may other 50th surprises.
Hopefully the Flash goes in a little faster than the new waterpark play area and the other 2023 six flags coast additions.

Well.... The Flash won't be open until July at the earliest LOL  Sadly, the same can probably be said for the wheel and flume, which is sad.  I do like a lot of the smaller improvements in terms of freshening things up but this park needs a massive infusion of cash for infrastructure and just general upkeep.  The main miss for 2024 thus far has been not having things ready early enough in the season.
