People are in line and loaded in the train and here it goes. El Toro is now open. First run is finished and it looks awesome.

When i left the park about 30min ago, the ENTIRE QUEUE was filled. One train operation. Expect VERY long waits.

After seeing the queue - and knowing how long that train takes to load - 1 train op with a full queue is probably a 4+ hour wait.

So remember everybody - this is ONLY a soft opening!!!

Today was awesome...

the line was long, and it broke down twice while i was on the line
the downside was i waited 2 and a half hours..... does anyone know why there was only one train opened?

The second train i believe needs some more work.  But dont quote me on that because i dont know the real official answer.

keep in mind as wade said.. it was only a SOFT opening totally unplanned.  The public was really supposed to start riding tomorrow after media day.  You all got really lucky.

when you say broke down.. what actually happened?  Did it stop on the lift.. or get stuck in the breaks or anything?

The restraints got stuck closed when I was on the train actually.

I think this is the best coaster I've ever been on. Tops S:RoS IMO. It's real close though.

The twisted hill was the most air I've ever gotten. Felt like I was gonna fly out.

I got on around 3, only an hour wait with the front of the line pass.  The ride was awesome, definately best in the park.  It's amazing to be flying through all of the wood so fast, and the lift was so fast too.  I want to get back row before comparing it to S:ROS though.
Still alive, contrary to popular belief.

I rode it twice today and it was amazing. The ejector air, even stapled, in the back row is truly amazing.
If you have the chance to get on make sure you do.

It is worth the wait, no matter how long it is.

Let's see, here's my full review:

The Lift:: So fast! Scary fast in fact! Almost got air on the top of the hill!

The Drop: So intense in the back, started getting tunnel vision, so steep in the front, seems beyond vertical. Rides just like in the video.

The First two airtime hills: Wow, amazing ejector, strong beyond belief, almost hurts

The turnaround: Smoother than in the video, transition wise and just is a fun, fun turn

The Twisted hill: More air than I expected, good head chopper

The small hill: Strong, strong floater air, more than Nitro

The cross-over: Wow, I feel lucky to not have landed in KK's queue. It was ultra-extreme

The twister section: Best in the front, but seems very fast when riding it, very very fun ending

Overall: Strong, strong ejector air, amazing positive g's in the back too! The back is so disorientating, it's amazing. The cross-over is the highlight of this ride, feels like -1.3-5, amazing. Best ride I've ever been on out of 52 coasters.

10/10

I share Silverbullet's analysis of Toro, it throws you around like an angry bull at a Texas rodeo. ;D easily #1 on the wood coaster list.they should have named it "Bodacious" for the rankest bull in the Proffesional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
