The Jet Star at Casino Pier(For those who don't know it, http://www.rcdb.com/id344.htm )

More pictures later, if anyone remembers the crane that people use to bunjee jump from on Funtown Pier in Seaside. I got some of that, I just got to find them...

Here's another picture from the summer of 91!

Notice in the top left Funtown Pier and the Log Flume they had. That was such an awesome ride!

Edit: Diana, I used to watch that when I was young and be like those people are nuts!

I LOVED that flume! If you asked and paid for the second ride on that flume, they'd let you sit backwards in the log! That was COOL! :)

No, actually it is a troop support rally.  The one sign says "Proud to be an American, Support our Troops."

Besides, have you ever known anti-war protesters to wave US flags?

I'm from the S. Jersey area so Wildwood (most attrations anywhere in the world) was my place to go FREE beach,Rides rides rides and the best place to play Frisbee.
I remember about 15 years ago when Bungee was big  wildwood had 3 Cranes setup for bungee  one of the cranes was at 300'  I think it was $65 I was going to do it but the $ was low that year. Now I regret not going on it becuase now the bunge jumps are only aroun 100'

Those are some nice pics you found there. Maybe I should head out there one of these days with a bunch of people.

I have never been to any of the piers.  :?

I guess this summer I should go for all of them.

you are missing out.  even non riders love it, because its a labyrinth of rides.  Very will designed if you ask me.

I guess im a little biased, i only live an hour away.  I remember when Nor' Easter was built and the Great White.  Both wonderful rides, though most would say Ne is a typical SLC.  I disagree.. its a pretty awesome ride.

you should deffinatly take a ride down.

ill post pictures of moreys shots and so on from years back as soon as i get them all scanned.

It's actually pretty funny... I've gone to Wildwood every summer with the family since I was very very little, yet I never did any of the rides at Morey's. We always just rode our bikes or rollerbladed on the boardwalk and piers, staring in awe at how they managed to fit everything in the way they did. Maybe this summer will be the year I finally ride the coasters! 8)

^Tis what i said this year when i went but that never happened. They do have nice rides there though. Just the tickets and what not are a lil overpriced.

You have to go to Morey's and get the wristband to ride all the rides and you get two hours at the waterpark. During the day all the rides have no waits.

absolutely the best way to get moreys done in a day.  If you only have a day.. go up to the piers around 12 when they first open.  I believe raging waters opens earlier than that, so get a wrist band.  There are 2 different raging waters attached to 2 separate piers.  I actually cant remember which ones right now.. i believe the original moreys, and perhaps mariners landing.

After you get wet.. go ride all of the rides.  The lines are never very long, and the band is convenient because you can just jump back in lines all night.  Most people shop so the piers are never too rediculous
