Vandalism on El Toro
« on: July 24, 2006, 12:27:51 AM »
Has anyone also noticed that alot of those stickers in front of the seats have been picked and peeled away so now they are either torn off or have sections missing? Why do people have to do this to the coaster?

I guess people want to remember that El Toro has "High Uplift Forces"...

Because they are ignorant teenagers.

Probably a good guess, but remember, all teenagers are not ignorant.  I'm only 17, and many of my friends that are enthusiasts are in the same age range and we treat the park with the upmost respect.  It is just that people have a tendency to ruin anything that they can.  I see this at the FEC (Family Entertainment Center) that I work at, as well as places like movie theaters and other places that are in the entertainment catagory.

It really doesnt matter who does the vandilising(sp?) its just really sad that it happens. Its pathetic that some people enter gadv and feel that they have the right to do what ever they want Its like people writing their name on Nitros clamshell. But the real problem for gadv is making it stop. Sure they can put up signs but people dont care/dont read them. The only thing I can see that would stop vandalism in the park is to have really strict security next year to root out the bad customers.

From what I last saw of Toro on July 7th, I can say that the queue line for the ride was disgusting. There was popcorn and lemonade cups all over the ground, and the garbage cans were overflowed/garbage was stacked on top of them. I'm disappointed to see this because I think the park did a nice job with the ride and I think it should stay that way. Hopefully things will get better...
